Hi. My name is Bruce McManus. I am a lifelong native of the Washington DC Metro Area. I was born in DC, grew up in Suburban Maryland and have lived in Northern Virginia for the last 20 years. I have traveled quite a bit but have always enjoyed living here and calling this area my home. Since the age of 8, I have been and always will be a diehard Washington Redskins fan!

In my leisure, I spend as much time as possible with my three teenage children, my very loving and aging parents, and Noah, my 130lbs Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. My family, old friends and new friends that I’m able to meet and keep is what is most important to me in my life. “Always do the right thing” and “treat others as you would like to be treated” is what has been ingrained in me and how I choose to live my life and relate with others. I have done much in my life and get the most satisfaction through serving others especially when it comes to quality of life issues and concerns.

My work history started with newspaper routes as a kid. Then I drove a truck for the Washington Post at 17 yrs old delivering newspapers stacks to the newsboys on my routes. I was a dishwasher, busboy, ditch digger, wheelbarrow pusher, painter, grease monkey and construction laborer, and then….retail, bank teller, nightclub bouncer, bartender and musician…..then, at 23, finally decided I should go to college. I received a wonderful education and life lessons receiving a BS in Economics at West Virginia University (WVU) and will always be a proud Mountaineer! Graduating from college I worked in the Commercial Real Estate field working my way up to Retail Leasing and Management Director for a prominent local real estate firm. When the bottom of the market fell out I got an insurance and securities license and worked as an employee benefits specialist brokering group insurance and retirement plans. I started and eventually sold my own insurance agency.

I decided that I wanted to have more fun in my life and that what I did everyday to pay my bills would have an impact. That is when I found ThermoSpas! I have worked for ThermoSpas as their local Factory Sales Technician going on five years and have found my home. I love working for ThermoSpas because…….who doesn’t want to own their own hot tub or swim spa? What else could anyone possibly add to their home and everyday lifestyle that would provide more benefit? Think about it…..serious physical therapy if needed, mental therapy in the form of ultimate stress relief, especially living in this high stress area! How about real quality time with family, friends and loved ones? What about romance, entertainment, or simply a nice hot soak by yourself to relax? You can do it daily or enjoy a mini-vacation in your own back yard whenever you want! Plus, it’s a sexy product….everyone wants a ThermoSpa!

So why not work for a company that produces, sells and services the best constructed, most energy efficient, provides for the best warranties in the industry, and has excellent customer service? This is a company that made a decision to get rid of over 200 showroom dealers, the middlemen, and instead have the courage and foresight to go out and deal directly with the public. That is Mr. and Mrs. Homeowner in America who wants and deserves an improved quality of health, quality time and lifestyle.

Every morning I wake up and look forward to meeting new folks who are truly interested in feeling better, improving their health and quality of life for themselves and their loved ones. I do the best I can each day to treat prospective customers as I would treat, educate and advise my own family, thereby hoping to earn their trust and confidence and their friendship resulting in a great experience and lifetime satisfaction in owning their very own ThermoSpas.

I am currently available for appointments in DC, Baltimore, and Northern Virginia.
