Hot Tub Information

Dear ThermoSpas,

I have a great view from my deck and a hot tub seemed an inevitable purchase for personal enjoyment and entertaining. After doing research on various manufacturers, I decided on a ThermoSpa as the best choice. On a cold, dreary day in November 1997, my Lexington Elite arrived; within hours I was soaking in it and congratulating myself on my decision. I’ve used it frequently over the years but, until recently, I wasn’t what you would call a fervent user. I typically used it 2-3 times a week in cooler weather and 2-3 times a month in warmer weather. That changed recently after I had what was supposed to be routine arthroscopic surgery on my left knee. Three weeks after the surgery I developed a staph infection. After more surgery, I was hospitalized for five days and confined to bed for an additional week and a half after my discharge.

Our ThermoSpa has been a wonderful addition to my life, as well as to my entire family!

In 1997, I had total joint replacement surgery in both knees at the same time! I have always enjoyed an active life, and I wasn’t about to change. Upon the advice of my doctor and other friends who had hot tubs, I spoke to my husband about having one installed. I had watched the ThermoSpa infomercial on TV and was immediately convinced that this was the hot tub for us! At first, my husband was not totally in favor of the idea, stating that it would take too much room on our sun porch, would cost a lot to have electrical wiring done, and we would probably see a marked increase in our monthly electric bill. However, after weighing the advantages against what he thought would be disadvantages, he agreed to buy our Cape Cod model ThermoSpa. None of the “negatives” have proven true. The tub fits perfectly on our porch, the wiring was a minimal expense, and our electric bill has not increased at all!!! The benefits have been incredible, and my husband and I agree that it is a wonderful investment for the health benefits it offers, as well as entertainment and fun.

Dear ThermoSpas,

Ben and I are thoroughly enjoying our new ThermoSpas! We use it nearly daily. As you know, Ben and I both work out at a gym approximately 3-4 times a week. Well, nothing feels better after a hard workout than getting info our spa with all those jets soothing and massaging our tight muscles. I am partial to the “neck jets”! Wow, they are so relaxing!

Dear ThermoSpa:

I would like to share my wonderful experiences with the Lexington ThermoSpa.

I purchased my Spa exactly three years ago. I bought it because I had just been diagnosed with ar-thritis. I had only experienced a Spa when on vacation, and was very concerned about the chlorine smell. I also have asthma and thought that owning a Spa would not be an option for me. However, after seeing your video and talking with your sales staff about the bromine system, my husband and I decided that a ThermoSpa was a must have investment for my health. We couldn’t have made a bet-ter decision. Within days of delivery, I felt the tension and muscle spasms associated with degenera-tive arthritis melting away. Since having asthma, many of the medications for arthritis affects my breathing and limits what I can take. This made owning a ThermoSpa a double blessing for me.

Enjoy Your Hot Tub All Summer Long
Written by Bruce McManus
During the “dog days” of summer here in Virginia, you may not want to, or even think to sit in your ThermoSpa “hot tub” if it is 100 degrees outside! So here are a few suggestions to keep your hot tub a viable option all summer long:

First, set your water temperature to 80 degrees (which is the minimum temperature for the spa pack.)

Second place your spa mode to the “Sleep” mode setting. The sleep mode is the most efficient setting in warm / hot weather because the heater will not kick in until the water temperature falls to 20 degrees below the desired temperature setting.
