Enjoy Your Hot Tub All Summer Long

During the “dog days” of summer here in Virginia, you may not want to, or even think to sit in your ThermoSpa “hot tub” if it is 100 degrees outside! So here are a few suggestions to keep your hot tub a viable option all summer long:

First, set your water temperature to 80 degrees (which is the minimum temperature for the spa pack.)

Second place your spa mode to the “Sleep” mode setting. The sleep mode is the most efficient setting in warm / hot weather because the heater will not kick in until the water temperature falls to 20 degrees below the desired temperature setting.

TIPS:

1. If your Thermospa is equipped with a bubbling system, when you are finished using your spa make sure the blower regulator valve is in the full pressure position. This will ensure that when the bubbling system turns on automatically to clean the lines out, there will be enough pressure to purge all the water from the system. This will help to ensure that no water remains in the air lines to stagnate and you can be confident of a fresh clean spa when you go to get in again.
