Enjoy Your Hot Tub All Summer Long |

During the “dog days” of summer here in Virginia, you may not want to, or even think to sit in your ThermoSpa “hot tub” if it is 100 degrees outside! So here are a few suggestions to keep your hot tub a viable option all summer long:
First, set your water temperature to 80 degrees (which is the minimum temperature for the spa pack.)
Second place your spa mode to the “Sleep” mode setting. The sleep mode is the most efficient setting in warm / hot weather because the heater will not kick in until the water temperature falls to 20 degrees below the desired temperature setting.
Third, take the cover off your hot tub to allow the warm air to escape to cool the water even further. Even opening your cover half-way will lower the water temperature and minimize the chance for debris of falling in your spa such as pollen, leaves and bugs.
Fourth, if it is still too hot, open the cover all the way at night and throw a 20lb bag of ice cubes into your hot tub.
Let the cool duck float around your ThermoSpa, put on your shades and have a cold one!
There is every reason to enjoy your ThermoSpa All Year Round! Have fun in the sun!
